The first step we do is to listen to you and find out what the problem is which needs to be resolved. When we listen to you we also collect all relevant data and facts. We believe that in order to assess a problem you need to have hard facts and data to find out where we stand and where we want to be.

After this initial investigation we will propose you a solution path to improve the performance of the current processes. This solution path is really depending on the situation where you are in. How fast do we need to improve, are there internal resources available, are they capable, how can you fund an improvement effort? After acceptance of the solution path, we will execute it with consultants of Sigma QC and employees of your company. One thing is sure: to improve the existing processes we use the Lean Six Sigma problem solving methodology. We have over 14 years experience with this methodology and to be frankly, we have never seen a more powerful improvement philosophy and toolkit.  We will involve your own employees in the improvement efforts so that the gains are sustained and be part of the normal work. We will stay until improvements are implemented and proven to be effective and we will leave when your organization can run this by itself. When we talk about the Lean Six Sigma problem solving methodology we actually mean the following methods:

• Lean Six Sigma: a method to improve existing processes based on the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) methodology
• DFSS (Design For Six Sigma): a method to design new products and services
• Kaizen or lean Event: a fast method to identify non-value added activities and make the needed improvements
